Last show in November, one day early because of work constraints. Only, like, four more shows to go this year… plus maybe a massive End of the Year mix? You could leave me a comment and try to persuade me to make one! 😄
This week’s Favourite of the Week™ is by Nifra and Sarah De Warren, called “Time.”
The other tracks you have to discover for yourself (or check the playlist below, idc)! 🙂
The next show will be on Wednesday, December 4, at 19:00 CET/UTC+1.
Due to a volume slider that got turned to -21 dB 🎚️, today’s show was a bit on the quiet side, but only as far as volume is concerned, because we had a bunch of nice tracks!
For example, John Askew made a nice remix of “Apex” by Simon Patterson, and Sue McLaren and the Space Brothers brought us “Way Back,” and the Favourite of the Week™ is the Robbie Seed remix of “Home” by Lost Witness and Tiff Lacey!
Luckily the recording has 0 volume problems, so enjoy it right here! 😄 🔊
The next show will be on Wednesday, November 27, at 19:00 CET/UTC+1.
So, my new MacBook arrived on Monday, and foolishly I issued the command “brew upgrade,” having forgotten that I – for whatsoever reason – installed Engine DJ using Homebrew. Which means it got updated. Which means it also upgraded the collection on my flash drive. Which means that the player was like, “nope, not touching that.”
Luckily I was prepared! I had no idea that this was the scenario I would be preparing for, but, eh… prepared is prepared! So I grabbed one of the backup flash drives, copied the missing tracks and was good to go!
We did have a slow week with only ten new entries, but there were a couple of tracks I was looking forward to. Nitrous Oxide released a new track, with Katey Brooks and Simon Gregory, named “Skylight;” RRAW! (aka Talla 2XLC) remixed a real classic, “Adagio for Strings;” Above & Beyond released “React;” and then there was the Favourite of the Week™:
You really need to listen to this show. It’s not a suggestion, it’s just your current state. You need this.
The next show will be on Wednesday, November 20, at 19:00 CET/UTC+1.
